Infertility is not an Incurable Physical Order

Women suffering from infertility are estranged from many auspicious occasions in society. They are considered a curse, for some strange reasons which would make those women think of themselves as good-for-nothing. Hence such superstitious beliefs of not welcoming an infertile woman should be put to an end. Also, the society must understand that infertility is never a bane but a medical condition that is totally curable through proper treatment and medication. It is just that total co-operation between patient and doctor is the basic requirement to come out of this physical order.

Treatments for Infertility Offered by ARC Centre

Varicocele Corrective Surgery

Varicocele is predominantly found in men. This is mainly due to the stressful working and taxing living conditions. Men with abnormal semen parameters are recommended to take up this surgery to correct their varicocele.

Hysteroscopic Tubal Recanalisation

For some infertile women, the fallopian tubes are found to be blocked. This block has to be removed using a procedure known as recanalization. The block is opened through a guide wire via Hystero Laprascopy procedure.

Azoospermia Treatment

Azoospermia refers to the condition where there is absolutely no sperm. It may be due to Obstruction or testicular failure. A testicular biopsy or TESA procedure is done to retrieve the sperms and perform ICSI subsequently.

Intra Uterine Insemination

This is advised for a couple who cannot conceive naturally and are following follicular tracking and timed coitus. Ovulation Induction (OI) drugs are given to the woman so that more follicles be generated. Once the follicles are seen growing, a HCG injection is given. The semen from the husband is taken and processed in an andrology lab. As they get processed, they are injected into the uterus of the wife via a small catheter.
